Energy-Efficient 6G Wireless Systems

Ultra-high-data-rate millimeter-wave and sub-terahertz transceivers and system architectures for energy- and spectrum-efficient beyond-5G and 6G links.

Future wireless networks require very wide bandwidths while operating within strict energy and hardware constraints. We investigate millimeter-wave and sub-terahertz communication systems that combine ultra-high data rates with energy and spectral efficiency.

The group’s work connects integrated-circuit design with system-level performance. Current research includes millimeter-wave and sub-terahertz PLLs for beyond-5G/6G systems, along with new communication technologies in the millimeter-wave and terahertz bands.
