Efe Korkmaz is a master’s student in Electronics Engineering at Sabanci University, Istanbul, with a BSc in Mechatronics Engineering from Sabanci University as well. He had experience with power electronics, embedded systems, and Sub-GHz telemetry prior to his master’s studies. His current study focuses on ground penetrating radars and synthetic aperture radars with USRP’s. Latest research is focuses on a ground penetrating radar that can be implemented onto a drone that can fly over rubble and detect earthquake victims. Outside the lab his interests include mountaineering, photography, amateur radio and diving.
